We are fortunate to live in beautiful, sunny, Southern California. Our backyard is nearly an acre, and sits on the edge of a chaparral canyon.
Throughout the year, black-hooded Gnat Catchers and blue Scrub Jays swoop through the yard snatching up bugs. Hawks, falcons, and the occasional Golden Eagle soar above on warm thermal winds. In the evenings, loud caaws of Ravens mark night, as black wings flap home in darkening skies. And, in the spring, swallows build a mud nest in the eaves above our bedroom balcony, while scarlet throated humming birds search out the nector of purple sage flowers and the sweet smell of Star Jasmine frames our front walk.
All of us who live at Canyon Court --birds, humans, cats, and dogs-- enjoy the cool canyon breezes, soft smells of sage brush, and tranquil vistas of this hidden treasure of San Diego County. With room to
romp in the backyard, canyon hiking trails, and nearby local
beaches , outdoor activities are endless-- for man and dog alike
Our dogs are part of our family, as we are leaders of their pack. They live in our home, ride in our car, run in our yard, and sleep in our bedroom, on their own beds at the foot of ours. Our puppies will be socialized with children and cats and live in our family until they are ready to join yours!

Dogs are our link to paradise. They don't know evil or jealousy or discontent. To sit with a dog on a hillside on a glorious afternoon is to be back in Eden, where doing nothing was not boring - it was peace. Milan Kundera
